I dined alone while on business here in Fort Wayne. I was recommended by a guest at the hotel I stayed while in town. I could not have been more impressed by every aspect in the dining world. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly which started with absolutely exceptional customer service from my server, Jen. She was one of the best I've experienced in any dining establishment. The food was amazing starting with one of the best New England Clam Chowder and fantastic Caesar salad. The pan seared scallops tasted fresh off the boat perfectly grilled and seasoned. Jen surpised me with a slice of fresh, house made key lime pie that melted in your mouth with tangy lime goodness. Highly recommend and of course I'll be back with absolute certainty next visit.

Had the oyster po boy and clam chowder, both were excellent, breading was light but crunchy and did not overwhelm the flavor of the oysters, cantaloupe wait to come back

Best casual fine dining in the city! The best food and service around. LOVE sitting at the bar. Get the walleye, the buffalo shrimp, tuna sashimi.... actually just get it all because I recommend everything!

It's been quite sometime since I raved about a dining experience here in Fort Wayne, as I have grown accustomed to frequenting my favorite restaurants. My most recent trips to Paula's have been extraordinary. I arrived with no reservations to a very busy night, so I and my brother, Wayndale Mayor John Farris, decided to sit at the bar. Our server was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Our food arrived very quickly and was fantastic. We had a buffalo shrimp appetizer that was the best I have had in Fort Wayne. It will be the start of every meal I eat there from now on. Our main course, was equally delicious. We had a sampling of fish, scallions, and crab. Everything was quite tasty. For the first time in years, I have been raving to my friends about a dining experience. Thank you!

I don't know how...but this place always has fresher seafood than the coast! Highly recommend!

One again, Paula's didn't disappoint! The food and service was 5 star. I love how they have their timing doesn't work it comes to spacing your dishes out. We actually had time to enjoy our appetizers before our salads came out, and our salads before our meal. My husband had the peel and eat shrimp and I had the Clam Chowder. It is my favorite it has such great robust flavor it hits the spot! For dinner my husband had the Crab stuffed White Fish and I had the Sea Scallops! Both of our dishes were mouth watering. The Sea Scallops were seared and had the perfect caramelization on them. Amazing!! And you can't forget the bread and creamy butter spread!

I love everything about Paula's the atmosphere, warm and friendly, the service is 2nd to none, and the food is over the top fantastic.......im looking forward to returning, thank you Paula's for always making my evening great...

Enjoyed my birthday meal very much. Food and service was excellent. Best seafood in town. Would probably benefit the ambience if they added some fabric and texture to the environment to absorb some of the noise. It gets quite loud when there is a lot of people in there.

Some of the best seafood in Fort Wayne. The almond crusted walleye is a must try. Love the key lime pie. Service is always excellent. Make a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend evening.

The walleye is my favorite in Fort Wayne. Plenty of food and always delicious. Their crabcakes are the best of any restaurant which I have eaten. If you're willing to spend the money for a high quality seafood meal, Paula's is the place to go!

My only favorite restaurant in the world. Imagine ordering fish sitting on the bay in Boston. As fresh ocean food as you will get in the Midwest. Great bread, great appetizers. I love the fish tacos. Great atmosphere. Great service!

My favorite seafood restaurant in Fort Wayne. I normally enjoy a cup of the Fort's best chowder and jambalaya. It's my "go to" dish. Today however, I had an incredible buffalo shrimp salad. Going forward, decisions are going to be difficult for me. I think they should create a trio platter w/jambalaya, buffalo shrimp salad and their famous walleye. Yum

food: I ordered steak with one crab leg( I know, not a good decision to order steak at a seafood restaurant, but I just felt some steak when sat down). Still, as a famous restaurant locally, the steak is only medium cooked instead of the medium- well I asked for. It should be a basic trained skill how to cook steak differently. The portion of one crab leg is a little surprising- it’s a huge crab leg. It came with various tools to eat the crab, so it was not messy after all. However, the crab leg was way too salty and I ended up having 2 glasses of water at the end. Service: very pleasant service. The lady (I forget her name) was welcoming and accommodating. I can give 5 stars to the service.Atmosphere: cozy also upscale, a good place for special occasions, business meals and meetups. I paid $65 for steak with one crab leg. some pricy.

Amazing place to get fish! The inside is awesome and the lunch prices are great for what you get! I got the fish tacos, and upgraded to walleye for the meat, which I highly recommend.

Each of the fish and seafood dishes I’ve tried have been wonderful, but the amazing king crab legs and the almond crusted walleye are my favorites. Professional, charming waitresses make the experience positive every time. Love the comfortable, eclectic space.

The sea food here is top notch. I travel to florida 1-2 times a year and some how Paula’s gets fresher fish than florida. The trick to eating at Paula’s is to just get the special. The chef is great and it’s always delicious.

Food is wonderful! 80% of the atmosphere is fantastic. The "back bar" needs a serious facelift or just torn out for more seating. Wife and I were briefly sat there on a packed Saturday night and it was not at all acceptable seating. No bartender at the back bar and servers with too many tables to pay attention to the worn and questionably useful area means it is a pointless waste of space.

Really good place for seafood. Awesome quaint environment and easy parking in back for being downtown area. The crab cakes were the best of ever had in any state I've been to. Reservations are highly recommended and if you have an elderly person in your party be sure to request downstairs as they seat a lot up two large flights of stairs with no elevator. Did not realize this when we took my grandma and we barely got her up there

Jaime was an UHmazing server!! She knew what was up...menu, drinks, dessert, it didn't matter, she knew her stuff and was fun! We had a great experience and the food and drinks were delish!

Seafood in Fort Wayne does not get better than Paula's. The aesthetics of Paula's reminds you of an old school seafood restaurant on the east coast, which is quite an accomplishment for being located in Indiana. You enter the restaurant through their seafood market, where you can purchase fresh seafood for your own perfect sea feast at home. The main dining room can get a bit noisy, so ask for a table in the back room on the other side of the bar. The menu offers a vast array of seafood options, perhaps the most variety in Fort Wayne. Feel free to explore if you are adventurous, but rest assured the tired and true almond crusted walleye is the best walleye you will ever have. It is cooked to perfection and is truly like cutting into butter. Bar offers a nice variety, but the food certainly is the main attraction. Forget the turf and enjoy the surf at Paula's.

Went to Paula's On Main for the first time, our table all got different items off the menu and all of it was made perfect! The waitress was super attentive. We didn't feel rushed through our meal & all of our dishes came out in a timely manner; appetizers, salads, Entrees! Perfect first experience! Thank you!

My wife and stopped in about 7:30 Saturday night with no reservation and they fit us in and had a table by 8:20!.....Awesome meal and service as usual! Christina was working the bar and was delightful as always!!

Had never heard of this place before till granddaughters mentioned it so we gave it a try. Started off with PEI mussels in a delicious sauce. Extra bread a must for getting all that sauce. The main courses topped all expectations for flavor and freshness. Our server Chase made the entire experience a pleasure from start to finish.

I got the romaine heart wedge and a side. I thought that it would be ok but this was different. They must have had some magic pixie dust in the back that they sprinkled on. The tomatoes were awesome and let me tell you that I normally push these away... in this case I was flipping over the lettuce to find more. They balance well with the bacon and what had to be homemade blue cheese dressing.

Im not much of a seafood lover, but the shrimp and scallops enchiladas were phenomenal and tasted so fresh! Plus they have a few not non seafood options aswell that are good to have as an option! Definitely coming back here

Absolutely the Best Seafood In The Area. The Sea Bass Was Delicious, As Was The Filet. The Crab Legs Are The Most Heavenly Thing I've Ever Ate. Service Was Outstanding! Chase Our Waiter Was On Point. And Cant Ws6it To Go Back! Great Job!!!

I had today's spicy Szechuan special for lunch. It was delicious and the bread basket had the most awesome cranberry bread. No need to eat any dinner tonight!

It has excellent service. Great seafood its a little dressy for me. It is a good place to take someone special out has some what of limited parking but has a parking lot. Fairly priced but your getting as fresh as possible seafood in the Midwest you have to pay for all that freshness. But all items are always delicious.

This Fresh Seafood Market and restaurant nestled in Downtown Fort Wayne is a gem. The rustic brick building unvails a simple yet classy interior adorned with nautical decor. The service is friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food is amazing. There is a solid daily menu but their specials are always a treat. We had Salmon Sliders, calamari, tuna sashimi, clam chowder, bluegill, and chicken and dumplings. What an amazing meal.

The food here was amazing. I went for a birthday dinner, and everyone who came enjoyed the food as well. I personally got the scallops, but there were so many options I had to choose from, because they sounded so good. I would definitely recommend it!

Paula's on main is a favorite of ours. The service is absolutely one of the best in the entire city of Fort Wayne. The seafood is always fresh wonderfully prepared and super flavorful. This is definitely a great anniversary or business client dinner location. Prices are reasonable for the food and service as well as the atmosphere which is very unique and tasteful. Highly recommended.
